World Water Day

Accelerating change to address the water and sanitation problem is the goal of World Water Day. There are still billions of people whose human rights to water and sanitation are not being met, as well as innumerable companies, farms, schools, hospitals, and other facilities. Change must be accelerated immediately in order to move past "Business As Usual." Everyone is impacted by water, thus everyone must act. Participating in the global campaign "Be The Change" can help you do your bit by inspiring individuals to take personal responsibility for altering their water use, consumption, and management practices. Together with broader commitments from governments, businesses, organizations, institutions, and coalitions, these pledges from people and communities will support the Water Action Agenda.
